Volunteer Bank was founded in 1977 in Middle Tennessee with a clear vision: to create a bank where people and community always come first. Driven by the belief that banking should be personal, accessible and deeply connected to the people it serves, we quickly earned our reputation as a trusted community partner.
As a locally operated, privately-owned institution, Volunteer Bank takes pride in offering personal service and local decision-making that set us apart. Whether helping families achieve the dream of homeownership, supporting small businesses, or volunteering at community events, Volunteer Bank is more than a financial institution—we’re a cornerstone of Middle Tennessee’s growth, success, and community spirit.
Headquartered in Nashville, with a growing network of full-service branches across Middle Tennessee, Volunteer Bank continues to build on our legacy of trust and care. Thank you for being part of our story. Together, we are making history and shaping Middle Tennessee into an even more vibrant place to live and work for generations to come.
